MunchSF-LatinFlyerThe four-month long More London Free Festival is descending on the Southbank this June – a celebration of music, dance, theatre and music – and it’s opening with a free street party with all things Latin and Caribbean, and that means some good grub.

Head down for lunch or dinner to taste some of your favourites serving up Latin and Caribbean inspired street food, including Mama’s Jerk Station, Arepa & Co, Guasa Caca, Azrafran, Churros Garcia, Boom Burger, Freebird Burrito, Route 66, Arawak Catering, Toro Paco, Quesidilla Cart, Margo and Rita and Wahaca.

Each day there’ll be different performances. Find Brazilian dancers on the opening night re-creating a Rio Carnival atmosphere, salsa lessons in your lunch break on Thursday, live Latin and afro beats to kick off the weekend on Friday night, and on Saturday all of the bands return for one big party with South London Samba, Soul Fiesta Collective, The Synergee, the Drop and Shanai bringing carnival fever to London’s Southbank.

Get your senses ready for the sights, sounds and tastes of Brazil ahead of this year’s FIFA World Cup right by the Thames this June.
