Taste of London takes over Regent’s Park this summer and turns it into one massive heap of food, drink and entertainment.

What is it?

One massive restaurant festival. Taste of London brings more than 40 of London’s finest restaurants under one big roof (metaphorical of course). Add in a few live cooking demonstrations, masterclasses and entertainment and you have a great jam-packed evening ahead of you.

Who to look out for…

Top chefs share their tips and knowledge on stage at the AEG Taste Theatre. You won’t want to miss appearances from Nathan Outlaw, the mastermind behind two Michelin-starred Rock; Monica Galetti, Pierre Koffmann; entrepreneur behind Ember Yard, Ben Tish; Daniel Doherty; Jose Pizarro; Pascal Aussignac; and Francesco Mazzei.

What to Try?

There’ll be 200 taster-sized dishes to choose from the restaurants taking part. New restaurants include Sea Containers, known for a fusion of English/American cuisine; Hook‘s adventurous take on fish and chips; as well as the gym-turned-restaurant German Gymnasium. Familiar faces will include M Restaurants and their selection of fine cuts of meat from around the world; Duck & Waffle; SUSHISAMBA; Cinnamon Club; Roka and more. Vegetarians – you’re not left out as restaurants Vanilla Black and Amico Bio join the line-up. Don’t miss the ‘Daily Special’ which has The Typing Room confirmed so far..

What to Drink?

Wash it all down with a huge range of choice. Take a visit to Champagne Laurent-Perrier’s new partnership with The Grill at The Dorchester, for their take on ‘entertaining at home’ with a pairing of Champagne and delicious dishes.

Beer-lovers, there’s a Tap Room this year – don’t miss tasting sessions with brewers from HonestBrew, Harviestoun Brewery, Wildman Craft Beer and Gipsy Hill Brewing Company.

Don’t Miss

Suffer from a sweet-tooth? You’ll be excited to know that there’s a Dessert Hour, new for 2016. Every session of the festival will present desserts of all shapes, sizes and flavours to be devoured for one whole hour.

Get back-to-basic with The Wild Kitchen, a rustic theatre demonstrating cooking techniques including grilling, fermenting and smoking techniques all over a fire pit and wood-fired smoker.
