The Street Food Party

Pick from 15, yes 15!, street food trucks and stalls, serving traditional German street food at Urban Food Fest’s Oktoberfest. Traditional offerings include the “Deustchland“, a giant hotdog topped with Sauerkraut, the “Lederhosen“, a triple stacked beef & pickle burger, and the “Munich“, pork belly on a soft brioche roll. Be tempted with German twists on other cuisines including the “Goethe“, a Venezuelan arepa filled with German steak and sweet mustard, the “Kafer“, Bavarian cheese Mexican tacos, and the “Hallo“, Vietnamese schnitzel chicken strips and German crispy potatoes.

Party with live music, Munich beers, German wines and a “Dirndl” cocktail of German red berries & Vodka. Anyone in themed Oktoberfest outfits gets a free beer or cocktail!

The Beer

Don’t miss Camden Town Brewery’s first Oktoberfest beer. What’s the wurst that could happen, right? The result is a Camden take on a classic – think Hells takes a trip to Munich – malty, with a crisp, clean finish.

From Monday onwards you’ll be able to find the Camden Oktoberfest Lager on tap at various pubs across London.

The Oktoberfest Festival

Munich comes to London as Oktoberfest London descends on London’s Tobacco Docks in one epic long weekend! Expect a traditional German beer hall, with Bavarian Oompah bands performing with a pop and rock twist. Herman Ze German will be feeding guests with wurst and schnitzel. The main attraction, beer, of course, will be found in the Paulaner Beer Tent with Paulaner Munich lagers, whilst the Paulaner Beertap will have Paulaner and Hacker Pschorr beers.

The Sausage

Oktoberfest isn’t complete without lashings of wurst. If you’re not off to Oktoberfest London, you can still get a taste of the wurst from Herman Ze German at their Charing Cross, Soho and Fitrovia branches. Choose from Bratwurst (pork & veal), Chilli Beef (pork & beef) and Bockwurst (smoky pork), as well as a Veggiewurst, with toppings including sauerkraut, crispy onions and curry-tomato sauce. Or go for Schnitzel with pommes frites, or in a brioche. All wurst are gluten & lactose free!
