What to Expect?

From Wednesday through to Saturday, feast on modern British dishes that celebrate great seasonal produce, and there’s a few hints of inspiration from around the world. Add in refreshing cocktails, beautiful a relaxing atmosphere and you have a great evening planned with friends and family.

What to Eat?

In for a quick bite over a drink? Then share small plates including the beetroot-cured Severn and Wye smoked salmon, and the British and Spanish charcuterie with pickles and locally-baked sourdough bread.

Thinking of beach-style barbecues to fit in with the scenery? Then you’ll love signature grill dishes, from the dry-aged Longhorn rump steak with chimichurri and twice-cooked chips, to the chargrilled marinated free-range chickenAnd burger-lovers simply can’t miss the Longhorn beef burger with house sauce and Gloucester Old Spot bacon. Vegetarians are taken care of too – go for the quinoa burger with harissa dressing, or the selection of colourful vegetarian and vegan salads including heritage carrots with beansprouts, pak choi, spring onion, chilli and ginger

For dessert, there’s a vibrant passionfruit and mango mess, as well as artisan gelato and sorbets by the team’s expert friends at Gelupo in Soho, including rotating flavours like strawberries and cream, brazil nut, and cherry.

Don’t Miss

The Summer Specials, which will celebrate the freshest produce – seafood-lovers can indulge in crab supplied from day boats off the south coast, served simply with sourdough bread, salted butter, and mayonnaise. We hear there’s a limited edition monthly scotch egg. July kicks off with the Black Watch – a free-range egg encased in a rich mix of Stornaway black pudding and Old Spot pork mince and coated in Panko breadcrumbs, served with a sweet roasted garlic aioli.

What to Drink?

It’s all about the cocktails… Keeping it locally inspired go for the Herne Hill Hugo is a refreshing hit of elderflower liqueur, Prosecco, soda, lemon and fresh mint; then there’s the Brixton Sour taking on the classic New York sour. Popular during the recent popups, the Kachumber Cooler returns with Gin muddled with fresh coriander, green chillies and cucumber then poured over ice, bringing a South Indian kick.

Wednesday’s the new Friday – get in on Prosecco Wednesday, as the San Martino Frizzante will be available all day and all evening at £3 per glass, £11.50 per carafe and £18 per bottle. Win! Don’t miss the monthly fizz cocktail, which will also be included in a drinks deal at £3 per glass*.
