The Feast team (the guys behind this winter’s Little Feast) are set to host the new Market Yard pop-up beneath the railway arches off Goldhawk Road, Shepherd’s Bush – giving you the chance to sample the wares of two up-and-coming restaurants.

Foley’s Tasting Kitchen

Opening on 10 February, the first six weeks of Market Yard will play host to Foley’s Tasting Kitchen. This restaurant is set to open in Fitzrovia following its Market Yard residency, but you can discover its eclectic take on modern world cooking here first. Head chef Mitz Vora comes straight from his position as sous chef at The Palomar and he brings us a range of exciting dishes inspired by street food markets and the Spice Trail.

For a slightly quirky choice, try the cornflake crusted chicken with pickled wild mushrooms; or if you fancy a small bite, go for the corn, endive and chorizo spiced sweet potato fritters. There’s also grilled pineapple, jalapeno yoghurt, and saffron coconut curry, and truffle potato agnolotti with cauliflower, rocket, hazelnuts, and confit lemon.

On 23 March Market Yard will hand over its kitchens to Made of Dough, the pizza place which has taken Brixton by storm. Set up by Henry Amodio and Ed Sandeman, who hail from the Amalfi Coast and Andalucia respectively, Made of Dough provides a different take on the traditional Neopolitan pizza with culinary influences from Southern Spain. If you haven’t made it over to Brixton yet, be sure to catch these guys while they’re out West!

The Space

There will be a formal table service restaurant in the pergola for a more sophisticated experience, or sit outside (don’t worry, it’s covered and heated!) near the charcoal and wood fire where all the action takes place. If you’re looking for a more relaxed, laid back vibe with drinks and a few nibbles, the Arch bar is open with a bits & bobs menu. Both take walk-ins, but you can also book for the restaurants.
