KERB Livin’ On The Veg

Food, News  /

Whether you’re a devout carnivore or you prefer plants, KERB’s ‘Ultimate Vegan Rumble’, Livin’ On The Veg, from Friday 18th August to Saturday 19th August, will transform your perceptions of vegan food for good.

What to Expect

The second in the trilogy of KERB street food battles, there’ll be eight traders going head to head to be victorious in the veg stakes. It’s simple: gorge on glorious veg – with one portion from each vendor included with your ticket – then vote for your favourite, with the winner receiving KERB’s prestigious golden carrot.

What to Eat

There may not be any meat in sight, but you wouldn’t have guessed it with the mouth-watering names of the dishes on offer. From Double Fried Jackfruit Buffalo Wings with maple bourbon hot sauce, blue cheese, toasted almond kale slaw and a fresh seared peach from Biff’s Jack Shack to Spice Box’s Charred Makhani-smothered Tandoori Cauli Steak with coriander chutney and homemade pickles on a grilled naan, it’s enough to turn any carnivore.

And don’t miss Young VegansChocolate Peanut Butter Mud Pie Brownies. We’re salivating already.

Best for…

Trying exciting, flavoursome vegan food from the best of London’s street food vendors in buzzing King’s Cross. Oh, and a bit of veg decorating too, of course.
