Free From Festival 2016

Food, News  /

Having a food intolerance doesn’t have to be your worst nightmare. Free From Festival is the UK’s first food festival that focuses on people that are living their life free from gluten, dairy or refined sugar.

What to Expect

This Bank Holiday Monday 30 May, the Free From Festival is here to open your eyes to a host of ‘free from’ products. If you have to live by gluten-free, refined sugar-free or dairy-free food and drink, don’t miss this one-day event where you can chat to vendors and find delicious alternatives to favourite foods.

What to Try

Free From Festival products are made in the UK, with many produced by local businesses from Hackney, Islington and Tower Hamlets. Indulge in refined sugar-free chocolate tasting, gluten-free desserts and savoury snacks. Vendors include the likes of gluten-free Italian kitchen La Polenteria; Chikas West African gluten-free snacks; Rana‘s gluten-free artisan bread; and refined sugar-free artisan raw chocolate packed with antioxidents from Raw Halo.

Make sure you stick around for the live chef demonstrations from Alison Nixon, Nicky Clinch and Lia Sokhi, to learn more about creating healthy meals that don’t involve gluten, refined sugar or dairy content. If you have an intolerance, meals definitely do not have to be dull.

Don’t Miss

The gluten-free larger from CELIA, Stellar‘s sulphite-free organic wine and refined sugar-free drinks available at bar.
