Tequila-lovers come forth! The Tequila & Mezcal Fest is back, and this year it is bigger and better than before – and we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away!

What to Expect

Back for its third year, from 17 to 18 September you can find out all you need to know about tequila and mezcal at The Boiler House at the iconic Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. From tastings to masterclasses and Mexican street food, this festival is cause for celebration, complete with traditional mariachi band, folklore dancers, an Aztec ceremony performance, art exhibition by artist Honorio Robledo and a photographic exhibition dedicated to the agave process.

What to Drink

Where to start? You can taste your way around a host of tequila and mezcal brands, try the likes of 1800 Coconut new to the UK; premium Patron Tequila and principal partner of this year’s festival; Tequila Lunazul with a history of over 250 years of tequila making; Tequila Tapatio dating back to the early 1800s; and of course the well-known Jose Cuervo.

Then there’s the mezcal. Check out the intriguing Mezcal Gin; artisanal Montelobos; or single village Mezcal Nuestra Soledad to name a few.
