The House of Peroni May Illustration

Indulge in the best of contemporary Italian culture at The House of Peroni residencies, starting Friday 2 May. Visitors can engage with creative visions in Italian art, fashion and design, as well as unique dining experiences.

Street food

An Alfresco feast will greet guests on the opening evening Friday 2 May. Some of the best Italian street food vendors will be fusing Italian fine dining with the laid-back atmosphere of the street. Don’t miss Pasta E Basta, serving Nettle gnocchi with blue cheese; Fattoria with Osso Buco; and The Italian Crumbery, serving a Fragole e basilico Zabaglione – vanilla & masala mousse, strawberry coulis, fresh strawberries & basil. This is only a selection of dishes, and more importantly, admission is free and that’s not all: a selection of DJs will be playing Italian music mixed with classics from the 1960s.

Alfresco feast – 6.30pm-9.30pm | Italo-beats – 8pm-10pm | Free entry. Friday 2nd, 9th and 16th May

Bottega Wapping for House of Peroni

Restaurant

Bottega Wapping will host a takeover of the top floor restaurant with a music inspired menu, taking a twist on recipes from the different regions in Italy. Food lovers can enjoy Beef tartare created to traditional Northern Italian methods, Seafood risotto made with Venezian ingredients, and Tagliolini alla Norma. Sharing platters will be available throughout The House and on the terrace, as well as an Aperitivo menu of smaller dishes, available from midday.

BW-Food Masterclasses & Culinary experiences

For a truly explosive colourful dining experience try the Dining in Multicolour event Saturday 3 May (other dates available, £60). This will be a sensory food parade with a multicolour room setting the scene to a feast just as vibrant. The menu draws on inspiration from the Red Green Blue model of colour used in photography (otherwise known as RGB to design nerds).

Culture & Style

Art and design lovers will find 4 floors of fashion and design, as well as events that include the art of silk scarf printing, and luxury shaves at Il Barbiere. The House evokes the spirit of 1963: the year Carlo Peroni created Peroni Nastro Azzurro and the evolution of Italian style.
