Summer is fast approaching (hallelujah!) and in celebration of this and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, South Place Hotel is launching a new range of delectable cocktails in the Secret Garden rooftop bar.

What to Expect

From 10 to 28 May, South Place Hotel is partnering with London-based artisan preserves company Butterfly and the Bee to create four honey-infused cocktails to tie in with the annual RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Florists McQueens have transformed the open-air rooftop into a honeybee-themed floral paradise, with fragrant festoons and garlands galore – reminiscent of many a dreamy midsummer’s night.

What to Drink

The cocktails are the centrepiece of this rooftop Eden – there’s the Sweet Spritz, rhubarb liqueur with rum, lemon, honey and a grapefruit and mint garnish; the Honeycomb Old Fashioned, which pairs a sweet hand-blended honey and chamomile syrup with orange bitters and rum; the Bee Sting, a fruity punch with a rum, mango, lime and honey blend; and the Honeydew, a muskmelon liqueur with lemon, rhubarb and honey.

Don’t Miss

The giant pots of different honey infusions along the bar – in an interactive twist, you can use the wooden honey stirrer you receive with your cocktail to add your own honey. Create a nectar worthy of the gods and enjoy a blooming marvellous night…
