Pop Up: Gindependence Day

Drink, News  /

For two days only, Death’s Door Spirits are bringing America to East London for “Gindependence Day” with their Death’s Door Dive Bar.

What to Expect?

More American than Donald Trump sitting on Miley’s wrecking ball eating Kentucky fried chicken, this pop up has everything from taxidermy alligators to country music.

The main focus is booze – the name says it all – however there will also be a pinball wizard championship and mini air hockey tournaments for those with a more competitive spirit!

What to Drink

Unsurprisingly, the cocktail menu is filled with gin! Specifically, Death’s Door Gin which has a simple botanical mix of organic juniper berries, coriander and fennel. It also has a full London Dry flavour without all of the bitterness because of the extraction process and the base spirit used. Take your pick from their Vespers and Gin Fizzes, Spritzes and Slings.

It also wouldn’t be a true American menu without a splash of bourbon – with White Whiskey Sazeracs also on offer.

All drinks will be priced from £5-7.

What to Eat

All American classics will be on hand to help line the stomach.

Don’t Miss

Fly the star spangled banner in the Instagram corner. The best photograph will be crowned the Dive Bar Diva and win a bottle of Death’s Door Gin. Get snapping!

Death’s Door Dive Bar | 80 Dalston Lane, London, E8 3AH
