Grillstock – expect a weekend of BBQ, drinks and music. Not for the fainthearted. Eat. Meat. Sweat. Repeat.

Grillstock, the UK’s hottest BBQ and music festival brings meat, music and mayhem to Walthamstow on the 5th and 6th of September. This is the biggest BBQ festival outside the US.

Feast

Don’t miss out on this year’s stonking line-up: all Hammers fans get ready, The Rib Man will be joining Grillstock with meats and that epic Holy F*** sauce. Expect delicious flavours from Carib Cafe, ridiculously good buttermilk fried chicken from Spit and Roast or get your burger on at Burger Shack. Don’t miss the BBQ options with Shredded Meat Co, Pit Smoked BBQ and Prairie Fire BBQ! And end it all in churros from Churros Amigos!

Top tip: it’s only one weekend, eat as much as you can and declare yourself a veggie for the rest of the year!

BBQ-off

Don’t miss the King of the Grill competition where teams will show off their skills on the coals to battle it off and become King of the Grill. Seven rounds. Chicken. Brisket. Pulled pork. Ribs. From three times Grillstock Bristol winners Bunch of Swines, to London’s The Fat Bear, to Rokende Regahs of the Netherlands, there’s a lot to watch out for!

Top tip: be in the right place at the right time for a cheeky sample.

Eat till you drop!

Don’t miss the eating competitions. There’s the chilli-eating competition; see how many hot dogs you can feast on in five minutes; or battle through Frank’s RedHot® wings first in the hot wing contest. Leave your manners at the door.

Drink

Try Grillstock’s very own Pale Ale or head over to Brooklyn Brewery’s New York style dive bar.

Top tip: get something stronger at the Jack Daniel’s bar or cocktails at the Sailor Jerry rum bar.

Music

It’s no festival without music. Grillstock features headliner acts Fun Lovin’ Criminals on Saturday and Sunday’s Razorlight. Don’t miss the Cuban Bros and DJ Yoda.
