Our favourite born and bred London gin is about to hit the big time, but before they can cram us local punters into their new tasting bar, they need your help….

We’re all about keeping things local — and if there’s alcohol somewhere in the mix, then we’re quids in. No questions asked.

And that’s why we’re backing Graveney Gin’s crowdfunding for a new premises to house a micro-brewery (to produce extra gin always a bonus) and a swanky, totally unique tasting bar for us locals (somewhere to drink the extra gin… winning).

At the moment Graveney Gin is lovingly distilled by the founder, Victoria, in her little home in Tooting; but the dream is to take things out of her kitchen and into proper premises where Victoria can distill the gin with as much love and care as before, but with a little more ease and productivity.

But even better, with your help, Graveney Gin’s new Tooting Market set up will include a tasting bar with plenty of craft gins up for some tasting, as well as masterclasses and the chance to make your own. It sounds like just the kind of place we’d want to hang out with our mates while knocking back some seriously good, local tipples…

From sales of her gin, Victoria has been able to donate £300 so far to Gearing Up For Gorillas, a small UK charity close to her heart that focuses on the conservation of the rare mountain gorilla in Virunga National Parl, DR Congo.

If you’re as keen as we are for this local gem of a tasting bar to actually happen (not forgetting the gorillas) then CLICK HERE to visit Graveney Gin’s crowdfunding page and get supporting.
