Coeliacs and lactose intolerance sufferers listen in – because your time has come to indulge in a bit of street-food loving like the rest of us at the specially curated Free From Festival.

It doesn’t matter if you’re gluten free, dairy free or sugar free, if you suffer from food intolerances, then this one’s for you. Free From Festival aims to introduce you to London’s very best ‘free from’ producers, and give you the opportunity to chow down a whole host of delicious dishes regardless of your particular dietary requirements. Here are just a few of our favourites from the massive line-up…

Kick Things Off in Italy

Proving that ‘free from’ doesn’t have to mean taste free, Coori, the Italian pasta company tosses together a load of fresh, sweet tomatoes, basil, oregano and salty Parmesan to create gorgeous, hearty Italian dishes that just happen to be gluten, lactose and egg free.

While you’re checking out the offerings from that side of the Med, be sure to stop by The Lab Pizza. They knock up the best organic, gluten-free pizzas and garlicy dough balls this side of Naples.

Andina’s line-up of juices

Jet Off To South America

The younger sister of the wonderful Ceviche Soho, Andina serves up dishes that are packed with superfood ingredients native to the Peruvian Andes. We know that the vegan Quinoa Croquetas and Poncho de Palta ceviche will be on the menu and, frankly, we can’t wait to see what else will be on offer for a bit of sampling.

Feeling A Tad Home Sick?

If you’re missing a bit of traditional British fair, then tuck into some high-tea goodies with Embrace The Cake. Each properly indulgent sweet treat is free from refined sugar, gluten and dairy, so in our books, is essential guilt free… we’re so ready to embrace some cake.

And if you’re looking for something on the healthy-scale, then Dee’s is where you want to head. Her Organic Omega Burger, that comes with crispy pitta bread, hummus, and plenty of green leaves not only ticks all the ‘free from’ boxes, but is vegan-friendly too.

The Free From Festival is running for all of Bank Holiday Monday, so you can pop by for a lazy brunch, some sweet treats come tea time or simply kick back and relax with a gluten-free beer in hand and enjoy a day-long food coma in the sun.

So don’t spend any more time worrying about the ingredients list, and get ready to tuck…
