Who knew The Halfway House in south west London, was hiding something as glorious as the chocolate “brookie” sandwich with salted caramel ice cream…

Ok, there was more going on than dessert, the pub has its own dolls’ house, vintage bird-flocking wallpaper and drool-worthy menu, but this is no ordinary pudding.

The “brookie” is a hybrid cookie and brownie – a breeding ground of temptation.

And sandwiched between the two chewy, soft (yet crunchy) layers is the best salted caramel ice cream this side of the river… and you know why? Because it’s sandwiched between those two beasty monstrosities.

Hungry yet?

Why not read about the Halfway House’s sister pub the Leather Bottle.
