What to Expect
The London Cheese Project is being run by Mathew Carver of The Cheese Bar, food journalist Patrick McGuigan, and cheesemaker Kristen Schnepp, owner of Peckham-based Gringa Dairy.
Celebrate with stalls from urban cheesemakers, talks and tastings, craft beer, cocktails and live blues and jazz.
There will also be a programme of ticketed talks and tastings in the CULTURE CLUB marquee on topics ranging from matching beer and cheese to an introduction to new-wave London cheeses.
What to Eat and Drink
Keep an eye out for one-off specials. The Cheese Bar will be joining forces with Kappacasein to make grilled cheese sandwiches and malakoffs (Swiss fried cheese balls) and Wildes will be working with Mac to the Future on an all-London mac ‘n’ cheese.
There will be food from street food traders: Elote, Mac To The Future, The Cheese Bar – Camden, Voodoo Ray’s, Oli Baba’s and the Raclette Brothers.
East London Liquor Company, Modern Beer Co and Crate Brewery will be propping up the bar!
