The House of Peroni returns to Brick Lane from 29 October to 25 November, bringing you a multi-sensory experience recreating the heart of the Italian home. If you’re thinking lager, think again, cocktails are the name of the game.

The month-long residency, called Vita all’Interno (a Life Lived Inside), explores the Italian home through a mixture of michelin-starred food, innovative Peroni Nastro Azzurro infused cocktails (yes that’s a thing) and immersive experiences.

Enter the Italian Home…

KitchenStepping off east London’s Brick Lane you’ll enter a warm, bustling Italian kitchen complete with a never ending dining table. From there you’ll be able to curate your own experience by purchasing keys and unlocking hidden experiences within the event. They‘re not giving much away are they? And that’s because there’s no substitute for the real thing.

The Drinks

What we do know is that The House of Peroni offers a selection of bars, each with Peroni Nastro Azzurro infused cocktails created by award-winning mixologist at The Langham Hotel, Simone Caporale. Drinks include the likes of the Winter Garden which takes a twist on wintery mulled drinks; the Agro-Dolce which introduces the iconic Italian chinotto bitter orange flavour; and the full-bodied Espresso Hops Martini, topped with a chocolate stick. I know where I’ll be heading.

The Food

Food

You can book a six-course private dining experience, created by Michelin-starred Sicilian chef Accursio Craparo on Thursday and Friday evenings, while a Sicilian-inspired aperitivo menu will be available if you fancy sharing some Italian favourites.

Savoury platters include chargrilled artichoke with potatoes and pennyroyal, creamed cod with pomegranate salad, ‘inside-out’ pizza, broccoli and cheese sformatino, meatballs with potato purée and arancini with meat ragù. A dessert platter to share features chocolate meringue dama kisses, Sicilian cannolo with orange zest pastry cream and U Dammusu – a pistachio crumble with cream cheese and raspberries. Hungry yet?
