Making its entrance to Peckham is Antic London’s latest venture, The Hope. Café meets bar meets traditional pub in this new, contemporary and beautiful venue.

The Hope

The Hope

There’s something for everyone with locally and regionally sourced lagers and ales, as well as wine and spirits. Ale lovers can taste brews from some of London’s own finest microbreweries, as well as Antic’s new London based Volden brewery. This is one for Summer!

Food pop ups

The Hope will also be host to a series of street food residencies in the build up to the launch of its permanent kitchen. We’re excited to know The Hope’s first vendor to take over will be Oh My Dog!, previously at at the Kitchen Hijack, serving German Franks and veggie dogs topped with delicious flavours. Exclusive to The Hope’s launch will be the Peckham Poodle, a hot dog served with pineapple relish, aioli, Habanero hot sauce, and fresh mint and coriander. Spoilt!

Peckham Poodle-Oh My Dog

Expect buns, barbecued meat and vegetarian treats from pop ups further down the line, including Sticky Beaks and Colonel Tom’s Gumbo, as well as local Peckham street food vendors. Once the kitchen is open permanently there’ll be a café, and a contemporary British menu for the evening, as well as snacks and platters.

We’ll keep you posted on the street food line up over the next for weeks!

We can’t wait to visit the South East, whether it’s for a coffee, a pint or two, or simply to stuff our faces.
