What to Eat

In for a quick bite with friends over drinks? Try the sharing boards, including the Charcuterie Board with salami, chorizo and prosciutto or the Mezze Board for bulgur wheat salad, hummus, baba ghanoush, harissa, pickled chillies and olives. The Scotch Egg with chorizo and smoked paprika mayonnaise is our winner and if you like a bit of pre-dinner indulgence there’s the Meatballs with a rich sauce of cannellini beans, feta and pine nuts.

In for something more filling? You’ll find classic dishes including burgers, fish and chips, bangers and mash and more on the menu. But it’s the new dishes for autumn that should catch your attention – choose the hearty Venison Pie with spiced red cabbage for a meaty feast; or go for the Roast Cod with brown shrimp and gremolata mash, equally indulgent and tasty.

What to Drink

It’s all about the cocktails here. With a selection of cocktails that isn’t too long to choose from you can’t go wrong with the classics including an Old Fashioned or a Negroni to start the evening. But we say head for the “Inspired” cocktails on the menu for a few twists. Go for the Candy Shop Sour with Sipsmith gin, rhubarb and custard liqueur and lemon, for a tangy and sweet drink. Love Bourbon? Try the Milk & Cookies with Bulleit bourbon, honey, milk and biscuits – perfect for ending the evening. Chilly autumn evenings call for the Gingerbread Man – with Ketel One vodka, gingerbread syrup, lime and apricot – which will have you dreaming of Christmas. You’ll also find a great wine list and choice of beers too.

Don’t Miss

The desserts. Sweet-lovers, if you have space after all that feasting, the Creme Brûlée served with shortbread is a rich and creamy end to your evening and the Pecan Tart is unmissable!

Best for…
