The Company Below has scouted out the finest mixologists both sides of the river to treat us to weekly cocktail making masterclasses this August! They do love to spoil us…

What to expect

Tucked away through a private doorway under Soho’s Balls&Company, this speakeasy bar offers a much needed escape from the London crowds.
Showcasing their talents and seamlessly guiding us through the art of mixology are:

Each cocktail deity is set to create a unique trio of LIMITED EDITION drinks, to be served for 1 week only! If you’re keen to pick up some impressive new mixing skills or like us, you’re a solid supporter of drinking on a school night, this one is a definite must. There’s only one thing for it- get hands-on and join the “Summer Shakedown”!

What to drink

We joined Migual Arbe Rey from Ceviche for the very first masterclass of the series. Guiding us through the intense flavour of Pisco, a southern American grape brandy, we bowed down to his expertise on the correct way to combine ingredients. Our favourite drink, the “Tamalito” is a mixture of coriander and sugar syrup, citric acid to cut the sweetness, corn juice and a generous shot of Pisco. Created with home-made syrups, blended Pisco and served ice-cold, his drinks are a real taste of South America!
