Following the sell-out success of his Japanese tasting dinner Sakura, chef Adam Rawson is teaming up with Borough Wines & Beers again this April for #Rawmen.

What to Expect

#Rawmen will be held at the Brewery Below, a dining space and brewery underneath Borough Wines’ Islington shop. But be quick – #Rawmen will launch on Thursday 20 April and run for two weeks.

Adam Rawson, Chef of the Year at The YBFs 2015, has created a three-course set menu inspired by the many bowls of ramen that he sampled during his travels around Japan.

What to Eat

Tuck into two starters including Chicken Karaage with yuzu mayonnaise, followed by a choice of Hakata Ramen (18-hour Pork Bone Broth) or Shoyu Miso Ramen (Soy Miso Broth). Both of these are served with preserved bean sprouts,  pickled mustard green and sesame.

The meal will end with the popular milk cheesecake from Adam’s Sakura dinner, which features Japanese sansho pepper for a unique taste experience.

A specially-selected collection of Borough Wines’ drinks will be available to buy on the night, ranging from Sake cocktails to its own Brewery Below brewed beer, and wines served on tap, by the glass or carafe.
