Our favourite junk-themed golfing venue has had a revamp. Head to Junkyard Golf Club to check out four new courses, alongside a menu of cocktails and snacks.
What to Expect
Bringing the cray-cray to crazy golf, Junkyard Golf Club is back with a brand-new look in Brick Lane’s Old Truman Brewery.
Experience the fun and frolics you’ve come to expect from Junkyard with four new courses: ‘Pablo‘, a polluted paradise (watch out for the pig in the speedboat); ‘Bozo‘, a circus freaks theme complete with a giant clown’s head (pictured top); ‘Bruce‘, inspired by movie mash-ups, and the tricky scrapyard challenge, ‘Gary‘ – tucked away in a DayGlo painted side room, rave away to old school tunes with a can of Red Stripe as you work your way from hole to hole.
What to Eat and Drink
There’s no chance of keeping a steady hand with the golf-themed cocktail menu! Try the Gary Lundgren – made with Santa Teresa Claro rum, ginger beer, lime and apple – or, if you’re having a bad golf day, the Dude Where’s My Par? with El Jimador tequila, passionfruit, lime and Lilt.
Bars are dotted around the courses too, meaning that you don’t have to interrupt your flow to quench your thirst. If you’re feeling peckish after all of that swinging, there are American-style snacks to fill the hole (ahem), including Hotdogs and Nachos or Popcorn and Pick ‘n’ Mix.
Showing off your skills to your date, or a fun night with a group of mates. You’ll burn more calories than if you were just sitting in the pub too!
Get hints on how to score a hole-in-one from the staff in the know and you’ll be taking shots like a pro in no time!
