Re-vamped and re-launched; the new terrace at Boxpark Shoreditch has got us in the mood for summer nights, cold drinks and delicious food…
What to Expect
The top floor refit is set to reinvent the dining experience by combining food traders with an action-packed summer programme of talks and music. Making their way up from Boxpark Croydon are south London favourites Coqfighter Chicken & Beer, Poptata and What The Pitta.
New traders on the block include bubble waffle specialists Nosteagia, Italian street food Gods Osteria Della Pasta and crepe fanatics Les Deux Amies.
Whether you’re out with family, friends or any other special someone, one thing is certain; the food and entertainment is bound to leave you utterly spoilt for choice.
What to Eat
If like us you’ve accepted battered chicken as your one true love, then you cannot miss out on Coqfighter’s Korean chicken wings. They come twice fried, battered in sesame and vodka (why not?) and served with a side of homemade sweet soy & garlic glaze and Korean hot sauce.
Oh and did we mention you get a dinky paintbrush to sauce your own wings?
What the Pitta is definitely a vegan fave – their classic Vegan Döner is made with spiced soya chunks, mixed salad, soya yoghurt Tzatziki, homemade hummus and chilli sauce to taste!
Finally, Nosteagia is guaranteed to satisfy all sugar cravings great and small. For the latter we recommend the Matcha Oreo (Mareo?) – Japanese matcha blended with oreos and served with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
For something more substantial, the Cocopeanut bubble waffles are the holy trinity of desserts – think nutella, crushed peanuts and dessicated coconut.
Boxpark Shoreditch is now home to new retail traders! Don’t forget to go and check out The Ordinary, The Camden Watch Co. and Deciem!
