The ‘beats and eats’ restaurant in Hoxton Square has launched bottomless brunch, and there’s more fried chicken than you can shake a stick at.

What to Expect

DJ Seth Troxler’s BBQ restaurant Smokey Tails started life as a meaty East London pop up. Last spring it settled in a permanent spot at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen after a series of residencies in Melbourne, Sydney, Miami and Amsterdam; and now, Bottomless Brunch has arrived – and it’s an almighty one.

So take a smug stroll past The Breakfast Club’s snaking queue and hole up in this joint

What to Eat

Go with an empty stomach. Legend has it, people have been known to eat three portions of Crunchy Brioche French Toast with Fried Chicken, Bacon and Maple Syrup. Each. The mouthwatering sweet bread had me at the word go. Even so, it may draw the crowds, but we say put the chicken challenge on hold and share all three dishes on the Bottomless Brunch menu.

Go for the Cherry Cola Gammon and Fried Eggs

The Cherry Cola Gammon and Fried Eggs trumps Eggs Benedict on the home comfort scale, while the buttery Mama T’s Pancakes sandwiched with smooth vanilla cream and drizzled with raspberry compote are exceptional.

What to Drink

Choose from bottomless Bloody Marys, Prosecco, Mimosas or soft drinks.

Don't forget to booze

Best for…

This is the hangover cure from heaven. And what’s more, it’s all you can eat. Eat your heart out. But don’t expect dreamy coffee shop tunes, the sound system is pretty nifty. It’s not called ‘beats and eats’ for nothing.

Don’t Miss

Spring is in the air, and there are outdoor tables overlooking Hoxton Square complete with picnic blankets.
