Head to the city and get whisked off to the Med. The Anna de Codorníu Terrace on the Thames’ will transport you across to the continent and summer in Spain with a view of the city that’s second to none.

Who are They?

Spain’s largest producer of high quality cava – Codorníu – has joined up with DoubleTree by Hilton to launch a pop up terrace at their London Docklands Riverside hotel. Open for five months, the terrace will bring the taste of Barcelona to the docklands with bubbles and tapas on offer throughout the summer.

Don’t miss those views #sunset

Beach vibes are completed with deck chairs and sofas, parasols, ice buckets and even white Anna towels! And if you want the full experience, don’t miss the live Spanish music.

What to Drink

The star of the show is the Anna Blanc de Blancs Reserva cava, or if you want something a little bit fancier, the rose version Anna de Codorníu Rosado is also on offer.

For those looking for something a little bit different, there’s the Anna de Codorníu Dulce Ice Edition, which can be enjoyed either on its own, on the rocks or in a cocktail. No Spanish experience would be complete without sangria, and the pop up will be serving up both modern and classic sangria sharing cocktails.

Go for Jamón cut from the leg in front of you

What to Eat

In true Spanish style, the food takes inspiration from Catalonia with a sharing tapas menu featuring Albóndigas de Carne – or to you and me, rich beef meatballs; Chorizo and Manchego Bocadillos; Calamares con Alioli and Ensalada de Gambas with paprika and lime. If you’re after something more simple – or perhaps just for the novelty factor – try their Jamón, which comes cut directly from leg.
