Enjoy after-work drinks and unlimited cicchetti at Italian restaurant Gastrovino for just £10pp.

What to Expect

First up, grab a welcome drink then set yourself up for an all-you-can-eat, buffet-style affair that brings together an inviting wine-bar atmosphere and traditional Italian ‘tapas’. And the best bit? You can keep going back for more.

What to Eat

For Apertivo Wednesdays, the chefs create a unique set of cicchetti (or Italian nibbles), from crackers topped with rich tapenade and mouthwatering bruschetta to omelette bites and a small selection of cold meats.

Any cheese you eat at Gastrovino is less than 24 hours old, having been created in their own cheese factory nearby in Battersea. To fully appreciate this, you’ll have to sample a couple of dishes from the main menu, such as the Homemade Burrata soft cheese with caramelised tomatoes, fennel and seeds, or the deep-fried Aubergine Permigiana with tomato, mozarella and boiled egg.

Best for…

A casual catch-up with friends (we’d advise grabbing a few extra sharing plates), or a pre-dinner taster.

Don’t Miss

Once you’ve finished munching, downstairs you’ll discover Bar8, an intimate basement venue that features 20 wines by the glass – one for each Italian region – cocktails and a spot of live music.

Gastrovino | 257 King’s Road, Chelsea, London SW3 5EL | Aperitivo offer runs rom 5pm each Wednesday | £10pp includes a welcome drink and Italian cicchetti selection
