Head to Randy’s Wing Bar for a wing battle like no other…

What to Expect

If you haven’t been to the Here East development, well what are you waiting for? With top restaurants and bars, sunshine (hopefully), and a relaxed canal side setting, this makes the perfect evening and weekend local hang out. Randy’s Wing Bar is a great spot to stop by and tuck into – you guessed it – wings galore.

What to Eat

Take a journey through flavours from around the world. Whether it’s the Buffalo – American fried wings, served with blue cheese; the Gangnam – think Korean inspired, sticky yet sweet; or the Bombay – marinated and infused with Indian spices. Our winner had to be the Casablanca, one of the newbies on the menu – Harissa infused with pomegranate seeds and a mint dressing. Devoured! The menu is short and sweet here, keeping it really simple.

It’s not all wings though. Upgrade to a chicken burger, that packs in flavours and spices. We loved The Bulgogi, with a Thai dressing, Gangnam sauce and lime aioli. Did it work well together? Hell yeah – so much so, it was demolished before my guests had time to chuck their bones into the thoughtfully provided bucket. Oh, and you can’t miss the Smoked Paprika Chicken Scratchings,  to snack on while you decide on your wings.

What to Drink

The cocktail list is short here, making it easier to choose. The Blackberry Nirvana is refreshing for sunny weekends, or grab a beer to pair with your wings. Weekend brunchers, your feast simply isn’t complete without the Hard Shake – Buffalo Trace Bourbon, burnt butter syrup and cornflake ice cream.

Best for

Die hard wing lovers; or a sunny spot for brunch to relax by the canal. There’s also All You Can Eats Wings on Mondays. Need we say anymore?

Don’t miss

Chefs from Chuck Burgers and Authentic Wingman’s Wingery will be in the kitchen alongside the team at Randy’s in a wing battle.

There’ll be two wings from the battling team that will be put on the Randy’s menu for one night only, and guests will have the chance to choose their winner.

Randy’s Wing Bar Unit 4, Canalside, Here East Estate, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park E15 2GW

The next battle will take place on 31 May at 6pm
