Summer’s here (almost) and the roof’s off at Pop Brixton. Bring on months of eating and drinking under the sun (yes!) – what better than a May Day Festival to celebrate?
What is it?
Pop Brixton will host a range of activities to bring on summer, literally bringing the roof down, oh and it’s free entry.
What to Try
Go for Viet Box‘s Brunch Club, putting their Vietnamese spin on dishes including Eggs Benedict with Vietnamese sausage, Vietnamese papaya, mango and pineapple fruit salad and the French Finger Toast with exotic fruit compote. Don’t miss the drinks menu with a twist to continue the bank holiday mood.
Get blooming with Flower Love London‘s bouquets and flower crown workshops, running courtesy of Miss Victoria’s Flower Emporium. There’ll be children’s gardening activities in the Greenhouse, while parents can head to the Zen Den container for mindfulness workshops, massages and more.
No party is complete without music and performance, from Busk Brixton street musicians, Afrocluster’s hip-hop fuelled afro-rock, afro-soul group Lakuta and Solko, a seven-piece band fusing dub and rock.
South West London’s favourite street food and small business hang out, Pop Brixton.
