POLPO is introducing a new, Italian-inspired brunch this Saturday. We check out what’s on the menu.
What to Expect
Transport yourself to the rustic backstreets of Venice at POLPO and indulge in their brand new brunch. These guys are opening earlier than usual at all of their venues from Saturday 21 May onwards, each Saturday and Sunday. It would only be polite to pop by.
What to Eat
You can go for Umbrian Poached Eggs and Scafata packed with vegetables and summer flavours. And our bet is that the Brunch Pizzetta with Italian sausage, wild mushroom, parmesan and a soft egg is right up your street. If you’re feeling sweet stuff, try the Frittole sweet Venetian doughnuts rolled in cinnamon sugar.
What to Drink
There’s a selection of teas and coffees, but if you’re in the mood for celebrating (or in need of a hair of the dog) then get in the Breakfast Bellinis and Bloody Marys. Simple.
Pretending you’ve hopped across to Italy. Pronto.
Half price prosecco at £16 a bottle. As if we needed any more persuasion.
