Plot teams up with The People’s Fridge for a one off ‘waste’ dinner on Tuesday 30 May…

What to Expect

Food Charity, The People’s Fridge, based in Pop Brixton, are teaming up with Plot, the small plates restaurant in Tooting’s Broadway Market.

This one off ‘waste’ dinner will be made with produce, that would have otherwise been thrown away from their suppliers. The kitchen will create a special menu and cocktails with proceeds from the evening donated to the Fridge.

The Peoples Fridge is London’s first community fridge,  driven by the belief that too much food is discarded unnecessarily. They redirect unused food from the local market, restaurants and cafés, taking these to anyone in need from the fridge itself.

What to Eat

The four-course menu will be decided on the day, with produce sourced from the traders at New Covent Garden market and Plot’s local suppliers. Think simple, seasonal ingredients, creating a small plates menu with a punch,

Guests will be welcomed with a Negroni.

The ‘Waste’ Dinner at Plot is a one-off ticketed event on Tuesday May 30th with sittings at 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

Plot x The People’s Fridge | Tickets are £45 per person, inclusive of 4 courses and a welcome drink, and can be purchased via the link

10% of each ticket sold will be donated to The People’s Fridge
