Having eaten her way around Japan, head chef Melissa Thompson has taken on the heartier side of Japanese food. Think “made with love, eaten with joy”. Feast on the brunch menu which includes Pork Belly Benedict with Yuzu Hollandaise, and potato korokke Croquettes and Eggs with Tonkatsu Sauce.
Make it a Beery Brunch between 12 noon and 4pm, offering craft beer dads a choice of nine thirds from the bar’s extensive keg and cask beer collection to accompany their brunch meal for just £25 per person.
Sunday: Eastern Bloc
Tuck into traditional Eastern European recipes with the aim of providing people an exciting taste of the unfamiliar. It’s all about the grilling, charring and smoking here, with dishes including Sticky Pork Belly with Blood Orange Giant Cous Cous Salad, to Polenta Fries with Crumbled Feta and Scotch Bonnet Mayo.
Dads with a sweet tooth: Jude‘s Ice Cream Takeover At Balans Soho Society
Jude’s Ice Cream, will be taking over the menu in Balans Soho Society restaurant, featuring a variety of Jude’s extraordinary award-winning flavours. Get dad’s sweet tooth onto desserts including Frozen White Chocolate Souffle with Sea-Salted Chocolate Ice Cream; Pistachio Cake with olive oil ice cream and a white chocolate pistachio mousse with sour cherry granola and Turkish Delight.
