Donostia Social Club begin their winter pop up at The King & Co in a special two-month residency taking guests on a culinary feast over the festive period.
What to Expect
Donostia Social Club will return to The King & Co serving up a mix of old favourites from their street-food van and new dishes from their Basque-inspired pintxos and tapas menu at Pop Brixton.
What to Eat
Feast on a great selection of seasonal ingredients and dishes including Lamb Cutlets, with spiced roast squash and salsa verde; Truffled Wild Mushrooms, with quail’s egg and PX sherry glaze; Salad of Wild Pigeon, with pickled figs and confit artichokes. And dessert? There’s Warm Apple and Sherry Brandy Filo Tart. Perfect for hearty feasts with friends.
And with the Christmas season approaching, don’t miss a great set menu to celebrate early with friends, including festive Basque favourites. This special four-course set menu will be available from 28 November to 24 December, and is priced at £32 including a glass of cava.
Choose from dishes including Seared Scallops with carrot puree and crisp pancetta; Seabass with roasted piquillo pepper sauce and baby watercress; or Wild Boar and Chestnut Ragout with parsnip puree; ending with Mulled Rioja Poached Pears. And that’s only a few of the options!
There will also be pintxos party platters, so pick what works for you and your guests over the festive period.
