What to Expect

Running from Monday 3 April, the popup will showcase NOLA snacks and Po’ Boy sandwiches made using the finest British ingredients. Division 194 is led by former Quality Chop House sous chef Nick Bramham and his brother Rob.

What to Eat

Tuck into warm, crusty Po’ Boy baguettes stuffed with fillings like beef shin “debris” with bone marrow gravy, or NOLA-style shrimp (or go for both with a “surf and turf” sandwich!). Don’t miss special Po’ Boys on the blackboard menu as well, including breaded mussels with marinière mayonnaise and matchstick fries.

Share NOLA-style snacks from devilled Burford Brown eggs with popped pig skin to cauliflower cheese bombs with smoked chilli ketchup, and confit’d chicken wings tossed in pickled chilli butter. These wings are the best accompaniment to a pint, served with Stitchelton blue cheese dip and celery.

Brunch Specials

Head for brunch on Saturdays with the Breakfast Po’ Boy and a New Orleans twist on the classic Benedict – a toasted English muffin topped with poach egg, hollandaise, house hot sauce plus a choice of buttermilk-fried chicken, signature beef shin “debris” or avocado and pickled chilli flakes. Make it bottomless with Bloody Marys, Cava and selected cask ale for £30!

On Thursday 6 April, The King & Co will also host its biggest tap takeover yet, in collaboration with Siren Craft Brew. Running from 7pm until 10pm, there will be 10 keg and 4 cask beers on offer with free samples and beer flights, plus the chance to meet the Berkshire-based brewers.
