Bring on gin, music and fun when London Gin Festival 2016 hits London this summer at Tobacco Docks…
What is it?
Whether you’re a gin novice or connoisseur, there’s plenty to try with over 100 gins to sample. Learn about the spirit as you go along, and take the opportunity to meet industry experts if you’re after tips and knowledge.
GinFestival.com began in 2012 when Jym and Marie Harris realised there was no festival that reflected their massive love for gin, so they started one themselves. “We absolutely love gin, so we started these events because we thought other people would want the same as us,” says GinFestival.com founder Jym Harris. “We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive reception and it’s been fantastic to see so many people rediscover this amazing drink.”
What to Try
Gin, gin, and more gin! Try samples from vendors, or buy drinks tokens (£5 each) for a gin, tonic and a fresh garnish. On arrival you will be handed a Gin Festival glass, a brochure with information on all the gins and the suggested garnishes. Plus food will be available from local vendors.
