What to Expect
Sample Belgium’s beer culture, food and music, as Ales Tales hosts some of Belgium’s best brews.
Sip on a range of ales from small batch micro-breweries including En Stoemelings, ‘t Hofbrouwerijke, Fort Lapin and De Leite to larger well-known producers including Brasserie de la Senne, Hof Ten Dormaal and Bertinchamps.
Grab your tasting glass and delve into over 60 craft beers from 20 breweries.
What to Try
Keep an eye out for Belgo Sapiens, Mr Rock, Brasserie Lupulus, de Glazen Toren, and Fort Lapin. Each brewery will bring a selection of their finest beers. Brasserie De La Senne will showcase their Brusseleir, Zinnebir, Taras Boulba and Bruxellensis while Hof Ten Dormaal who are famed for using sour fruits, will bring four of their best beers. Other breweries include Brasserie de Bastogne who use a signature open tank fermentation process providing a complex flavour to their beers and t Hofbrouwerijke who harness wood spices in their flavours.
What to Eat
Food will be served up by Fabrice Rocheteau – feast on treats including croquette de crevettes’ (shrimps croquette); ballekes sauce liegeoise (meatballs with beer sauce). Plus, don’t miss the selection of Belgian cheeses will be on offer for beer pairings.
